From being a little girl I have always been interested in arts and crafts, always carrying a sketchbook and my pencils where ever I went, nothing has changed.
Now as a designer/maker specialising in knitted fabrics I am drawn immediately to the textural qualities of different yarns. I enjoy developing products that give comfort and warmth. When designing and creating my fabrics I give equal standing to both the visual appearance and the textural quality.
My future ambition is to develop my work further in the interior and fashion accessory fields. I will continue to experiment with materials and subject themes to achieve this. Ultimately, I intend to design and create products that not only satisfy my original concepts, but also fulfil the desires of my target markets.
