All shoes are like my ever smiling red lustre mary janes that made me want to never grow up..... ..and all fingers are up to 4 in each hand, exactly as how I always used to miss 1 or 2 of them while counting... There's a seven year old inside me that never grew up and takes over ....she makes me relive my childhood by playing the game of Hide n Seek.
I get inspired by silent creatures, faded memories of childhood, childish scribblings, monochromatic lithographies, repetitive mechanical sounds of bizarre gadgets with no apparent use, old toys, vintage illustrations from children's books and waiting for a rainbow to appear after the endless rains here in England.
I have dear memories of a little odd girl that wanted to draw her own world and flourished over a piece of paper, with a pencil in her hand, drawing. I've studied in an Arts school for a year in my late teens, but it took many years of unsatisfied sketchbooks, drawing woman's eyes on my partner's eyelids while he was sleeping, and painfully studying Architecture, to realise that I enjoy drawing most of all ! I'm currently juggling between completing my Master's course and experiencing to the full playing Hide n Seek. | |
