I Am Acrylic: hand-made jewellery, trinkets and other things, mostly made from acrylic.
The first ever thing I made out of acrylic was a clock, in CDT at school. The second ever thing I made was a keyring for my girlfriend. It’s a robin, cut out of fluorescent orange acrylic, and is based on the bird logo on the side of the building next to the art deco car park on Brewer Street in Soho, London.
The buyer at the shop she works in liked it and suggested I make some things to sell, and “I Am Acrylic”started from there.
All pieces are individually cut by me using a mechanical fretsaw ensuring that no two items are the same.
