Pipnstuff creates handmade jewellery and accessories from vintage, recycled and thrifted items. Founded by creative director and designer Pip Spratt, who has created since she was tiny, having always had an eye for detail.
Inspired by memories of looking through assorted goodies squirreled away in her family home, finding exquisite beads, wonderful one off buttons, hidden away ornaments, and bits of ribbon and paper from loved presents. Pip combines personally sourced vintage and retro items to create modern day treasures. She uses vintage, recycled and thrifted beads, buttons, found objects and shiny things.
Pip loves the romantic idea of old objects finding new stories, in modern situations… ‘I love creating items which intrigue and delight. Old objects are much more potent, bringing a taste of their past to ‘new’ unique pieces.’
Vintage optical lens from an English optician, darling Japanese flower beads from the 1940s, fun Great British games pieces and much more… all find new uses and homes.
Everything is recycled as much as possible – not only by reusing the treasures found, but also by personalizing the recycled gift boxes with old paper scraps.
