With a varied training in three dimensional design, Rose started out studying architecture and has slowly worked her way into designing much smaller scale objects from furniture and interior accessories and now to jewellery and women’s accessories.
With a keen eye for colour and detail Rose’s pieces are fun, sophisticated and quirky. Her interests lie in designing beautiful objects at a reasonable price for batch production, the nature of which makes many of her pieces limited edition. Much of her work is either made by hand or hand finished with much care and attention.
Although Rose’s designs are contemporary she takes inspiration from vintage patterns and objects and also from nature. She is a fan of the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and mid-century modern periods.
Her first range of jewellery ‘China’ is made from bone china in a simple, well proportioned form with a choice of three contemporary patterns with many more patterns and colour ways planned for the future.
