I am a designer/maker living in Lancashire with a passion for felt. I create fashion accessories from my wool mix felt. I want to use felt in a sculptural way.
My inspiration comes from 60s and 70s designs and colours, in particular the designs and colourways of 1960s Scandinavian ceramics and mid century design.
I studied Surface Pattern Design but gradually became more interested in textiles.
I think textiles must be in my blood. In tracing my family tree I discovered my ancestors worked in the textile mills of Lancashire as far back as 1800 and probably beyond.
